Q1: Can I color this hair?
A: Yes, hair extensions are made from 100% human hair that is not processed in any way. So you can color the hair, once virgin hair is treated in any way, it is no longer virgin, and therefore we recommend that you color or process your hair by a professional way.
Q2: How to avoid hair shedding or tangling?
A: Any hair that has been manufacture to be stitched on a weft is entitled to experience minimum shedding which is absolutely normal. You can washing your hair extensions regularly by tooth comb with high quality shampoo and conditioner, and combing your hair daily.
Q3: Do I have to do anything special when I do comb?
A: We advise that you comb your hair extensions every morning. Gently brush your hair from the ends towards your scalp. Starting from the ends keeps the pressure off the weft area and is a good way to maintain the longevity of the extensions.
Q4: Can I exercise and swim wearing hair extensions?
A: Of course you can still exercise and play sports when wearing hair extensions but we recommend tying your hair in a loose pony tail or plait and washing immediately afterwards.
Q5: What type of hair care products should I use?
A: Treat this hair extensions like your own hair. Use your local good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. We recommend using a deep conditioner on your virgin hair once per week, but avoid using oil or heavy styling products.
Q6: Can I use styling products on my hair?
A: Generally yes but some styling products, usually those which contain oil or alcohol should be avoided and styling products should never be put directly onto the hair extensions.
Q7: How long will hair extensions last?
A: Hair extensions can last on average up to months, with an option to move the extensions up every 3-4 months, and reuse the hair for up to a year.
